This might be offensive, and makes people think a kid like me shouldn’t ask these questions, and I should be a innocent child. I also hate the word “child”. Okay, these are the offending questions:
1. If Jesus was the Lord, did the Lord feel pain when Jesus did??
2. If God loves us so much, why does he let us suffer? To learn, I know, but does he really love us??
3. God made the world, but could he’ve ,made the world earlier or later, since he was there forever??
4. How was God made? Was he a baby??
5. How can Science/History Bible study mix? Or are they like oil and water; they cannot mix??
And now for the baking soda(as in, baking soda and vinegar. . . .)big bomb question:
Why should people believe in a God they never saw?
The explanation to the question is that I have seen statues of Buddha and others, but never actually seen one of God. I have seen statues of Jesus, but that is a tad bit different.
Okay, this is all for now!
I went to church on saturday and it said that you should truly believe in God, if you seen him or not. they are talking about us now. isn’t that strange?
Answer to Question 1:
Usually we use the word ‘Lord’ to mean ‘God’ or ‘Jesus Christ’. God has 3 ‘persons’, God Father, God Son, and God Holy Spirit. The 2nd Person of God is Jesus. He became man and felt pain. I think God Father and God Holy Spirit can’t feet pain when Jesus did.
Answer to Question 2:
God surely loves us very much, so that He sent His only Son Jesus to the world to save us from the sins Adam made. Suffering came from Adam’s sin, the most suffering may be the death, which came from Adam’s sin. Jesus save us with His death on the cross to show His great love to us. From the New Testament you can know how deeply Jesus loves us. When you receive Holy Communion, you ought to know that’s His love to let you have It. Read the New Testament more, pay attention to what Jesus said and did, you can know more about the Love He gives us.
Something more to Question 3:
You say ‘God is there forever’, that’s right. You can think about the word ‘forever’ again, ‘Forever’ means ‘no beginning, no ending’, any time for God is ‘NOW’. The so-called ‘earlier or later’ is what you think of the time you ‘were’, you ‘are’, and you ‘will be’. Since God has made the world, you can be on the earth, otherwise no ‘you’ exists. Nothing, nothing, nothing, so everyone must thank God for creating him or her, for keeping him or her living…… .
Answer to Question 4:
God comes from Himself. No one know how He was made. So He can’t be a baby. No one has even seen God in the world, except His Son, Jesus. But everyone will see God after one died.
Answer to Question 5:
Bible is not a scientific book, but something like a history book. They are not oil and water. You needn’t mix them, but believe Bible with your Faith, learn science at the same time. They are not contradict, so many famous scientists believe God when they studied science more, and believe God deeper. I think you will have this kind of experience later when you grow older.
Answer to the last Question: Why should people believe in a God they never saw?
The so-called ‘believe in’ is the ‘Faith’. If you see something, you believe it, it’s not ‘Faith”. Just as what I have wrote above, no one has seen God, except Jesus. No one can see God when one is alive. We know God through His Son, Jesus. You can meet Jesus when you receive Holy Communion through Faith, Jesus is God the 2nd Person, we can know Him because He had been our human being. Since we believe in Jesus, not through the statues you can see, but through the Faith you have, and we surely believe what Jesus said in the New Testament, He told us there is God, and asked us to believe Him, pray to Him, thank Him, live for Him, and will see Him in person in heaven after we finish our duty on earth. At the same time, you believe something you can’t see in your daily life, such as …… . Is it?
how the heck is the lord!
why are they all aboat god and lord you told me them they where not real(is zeus real he’s awsome go lighting!)
i did say that????
